I sat down at the seats here in the Ice Arena, I am a hockey player for the Los Angeles Monarchs, I was here for a break as I got my skates laced. My brother plays here for the San Jose Sharks, His name is Ryane Clowe so they let me practice here while I am on break. I got my stuff ready as I finished it up. I hit the ice as I practiced and practiced.  I worked on my shot a few times. 


"Do you mind if I play?" an unknown man asked.


"Sure." I said as he smiled.


"I am Devin, I play for the San Jose Sharks." He said shaking my hand.


"I am LC, I play for Los Angeles Monarchs." I said.


"I know who you are, your Ryane's sister." He said.


"Yeah, I am." I said as we both smiled.

"Your even more beautiful than I had imagined." He said.

"Thank you, your very handsome." I said winking at him as I skated.


He caught up to me as we skated as we worked on our shooting. I was having trouble with my shorthanded so he was giving me a few pointers. I did a few moves as I taught him some new moves to shoot the puck in the net. A few hours later we finished up and headed off the ice....


"So tonight my brother is having a party, are you coming?" I asked.


"Sure, are you inviting me?" He asked.


"Yeah. I would love it if you came." I said.


"Then I will be there for sure. What time?" He said.


"7pm and bring your bathing suit." I said.

"Can I bring my guitar?" He asked.

"Of course you play?" I asked.


"Of course I would play for you." He said as I smiled.


We got our skates off as I put my flip flops on. I took my sweat jacket off as I revealed my tanned skin. I grabbed my sunglasses and put them on top of my head as we both walked out. He walked me to my car as I put the stuff in my car.



"Thank you for teaching me a few skills today." I said.


"Your welcome. Thank you for teaching me some new moves, which you should stay a few days, so I can show off them to you tomorrow night." He said.


"I would love that. I have about 2 weeks off." I said.


"Great more time I can spend with you." He said as I blushed.


"Its a beautiful day out, why don't we go take a walk on the beach?" I asked him.


"I would love that." He said as he hopped into my car.

I headed off toward the beach as we both headed there. I turned the music down a little as he smiled. I pulled up as I shut the car off. We walked and talked on the beach as we had fun. We talked about everything from music, to dating. It is amazing. Walked close to the water as he smiled. We played around near the water as he hugged me. He grabbed my hand as we walked. He fell to the ground as he brought me down with him.

"Your so beautiful." He said.


"So are you." I said as I felt the attraction happening.


The waves crashed into us as he kissed me as I smiled. I liked him and he was fun to be around. I felt the deep attraction with him and sparks flew. We got up and headed back the car as he grabbed my hand. We headed toward his house as I took him home. I traveled with the sun beating down on us. He grabbed my hand as we drove toward his house. I pulled in his driveway as I parked the car in his driveway. I got out to give him a hug as he grabbed me closer to him. He put his hands on my face as he kissed me so passionately. 


"I will see you later tonight." He said.


"I can't wait." I said as I kissed him.


"Me either. I will be there at 6pm instead of 7." He said as he continued kissing me.


"I have to go, I will see you tonight." I said as he hugged me again.


"Bye babe." He said as I kissed him and headed out of the driveway. 


I headed toward the house and thankfully it was almost 5 minutes away. I headed to it and pulled in the driveway. I was so tired, but I loved hanging out with Devin. I got out as I grabbed my stuff and headed for the inside.


"About time you got home, where have you been?" Ryane asked.


"I was at the rink, then I met Devin. We walked on the Beach talking." I said as I smiled and walked upstairs.


I walk into my room that I am staying in as I decided to take a shower and got ready for the night. All I could think about was Devin and how amazing he is. I finished up and headed out, I got my bathing suit on and my dress.

I went down to fix up everything as Heidi came in. 


"So what is this I hear you and Devin on the beach?" She asked as I giggled.


"Nothing why?" I asked.


"You two are so cute together. You two would make the perfect couple, like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt." She said as I blushed.


"I like him. He is very sweet and gorgeous." I said.


"Is he coming tonight?" She asked.


"Yep." I said as she smiled at me. 


::: later that evening :::


I sat down and relaxed as everyone started showing up. Devin came in as I met some of the fellas. Logan was first to jump into the pool as I took off my dress. I got my bathing suit on as Devin joined me in the pool. He hugged me from behind. He turned me around as he picked me up and threw me in the pool. I swam back to him as we had so much fun. Ryane started the grill as I decided to get out for a while.  I helped him out while Devin stared at me as we smiled.


"You really like Devin don't you?" He asked.


"yeah I do, A lot." I said.


"I know, just promise me to not get hurt or do anything stupid." He said.


"I know bro, I promise. I really like Devin and I think this could be a relationship. I haven't liked anyone since Marc Staal."  I said.


"I know sis, I just want you to be careful and I don't want you to get hurt, I just care." Ryane said.


"Thank you Ryane, love you too bro." I said.


We cooked as I joined Devin who was sitting on the lounge chair. He put his arms around me as he kissed my cheek. We drank as the food was ready. We ate and hung out as Ryane lit the outside fireplace. We have this outside fireplace to sit around with that looks like a Bonfire. I looked at Heidi and Ryane snuggling and kissing. I am so glad my brother found someone that is amazing to him, that puts up with his shit, and most of all loves him for who he is. I looked at Devin as he smiled.


"Hey I have a question to ask you." Devin said.


"Sure whats up babe?" I asked.


"I know i just met you earlier today and I really like you, Would you be my girlfriend?" He asked me.


"Sure I would love to." I said as he kissed me.


I loved how Devin was to me. He was beautiful and most of all so sweet to me. We finished up as we all sat around as Devin grabbed his guitar. He started playing while I sang as he smiled. We finished up the party as the guests headed home. We cleaned up and headed for the inside as I decided to change into Pajamas. Ryane and Heidi were headed to bed since they were tired already. Ryane needed more beauty rest than most people, Devin brought his pajamas as well as we walked up to my room. 


"Finally some alone time with you." He said as I kissed him.


"I know, lets get some sleep, you have a big game tomorrow, you need to show off your moves." I said as he laughed.


"yes baby, whatever you say." He said.


We cuddled in bed with the TV on. He kept me warm and safe like I knew he was meant for me.


"Good night baby." He said as he kissed me again.


"Good night Angel."

I got ready and made my way toward the arena. My boyfriend Anze Kopitar plays for the L.A. Kings so I was there one night to support him. We were playing the St. Louis Blues, a team I was OK with. The game was ready to start as I stood up cheering of course. I sat down and got some soda as he opened the game with a goal. I was so excited for him as we got up and cheered. As time went on and this game got more exciting, Anze got into a fight with David Perron , I had no idea why he did , but he did. The game had went on and periods were winding down. It was almost end of the game and while Kings had lost I knew this would be upsetting to Anze. I got my stuff ready as I headed down toward the back locker room. I headed toward the back as I walked toward him. I then seen him stand there kissing another girl. I stared for a brief moment thinking about what just happened. I looked at him and realized it was my boyfriend kissing a puckbunny full on lips. I felt my heart beat faster as he looked at me.

"It wasn't what it looked like." He said.

"BULLSHIT! IT IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!" I screamed at him.

"She means nothing to me. Your the one I want." Anze said.

"Get away from me, its over we are dunzo. I hate you, I never want to see you again you jerk!" I screamed crying.

"Its not over until I say it is." He said as I smacked him in the face.

"I never want to see you again." I said as I ran away.

I cried and cried and I never felt so hurtful in my life. What was I going to do? Where was I going to go? I tried so hard to stay calm but all I wanted to do was run away and cry. I ran toward the visiting side is where I found myself wondering until for one moment I accidentally walked into one of the guys from the Blues.

"I am so sorry miss." He said helping me up.

"It was all my fault, I am sorry." I said as he helped me up.

It was David Perron. I looked at him as he looked at me and wondered what was going on.

"Are you OK? You were crying." He said as my eyes filled up with more tears.

"I will be fine, you don't have to be worried." I said.

"I am David." He said,

"I am Lauren, but you can call me LC." I said.

"What does the LC stand for?" He asked walking slow with me.

"Lauren Cassadine." I said.

"Ohh that is so pretty." He said.

"I wish you didn't have to go so quickly." I said.

"LC!" Anze screamed.

"Leave me alone Anze! Its over, its over when you cheated on me." I said crying.

"Didn't the lady say leave her alone?" David said hugging me.

"She is with me, she is none of your business." Anze said as he grabbed me.

"She is my business when you treat her like shit. How dare you treat a beautiful girl like that." David said as Anze pushed me down.

"Oh my god are you ok?" TJ asked as he helped me up.

'"I am OK." I said.

Erik and David were pissed off as David decided it wasn't worth beating him up since he can do it on the ice for good.. He got me out of there so quickly as we grabbed a taxi and headed for some coffee. Erik and TJ came with us as well to make sure nothing was going to happen to me when I go home and get my stuff out of his house. We sat down and made a plan over some food as well.

"You guys don't really have to do this." I said.

"Yes we do. I need to make sure your going to be OK, so we will get your stuff out of your place, do you have a place to go?" David asked.

"My sister lives in San Jose, I can visit her for a while with her husband." I said.

"Ok, we are going to get on a plane to San Jose guys and bring her there.." TJ said as I smiled.

"You don't have to do that, all I need is to get to the airport." I said.

"No we are going to bring you there so this way you can get there and we know you made it OK." Erik said as I smiled.

"I really appreciate this guys. I thought I meant something to him." I said.

"What exactly happened to get him so mad at you?" TJ asked.

"Well, I was walking down to greet him and as I turned the corner he was outside the locker room making out with another woman, a puckbunny, then I screamed and told him it was over, I ran toward the Visiting side where I bumped into David." I said.

"Wow, what a jackass." TJ said.

"Your telling me, He is so stupid for letting you get away and for even cheating on him." Erik said.

"OK so while you pack I will stand up there with you helping, TJ and Erik will guard the door." David said.

"Thank you guys , are you sure you don't have to stay with the team?" I asked.

"No way, we have optional practice in Anaheim tomorrow, we can take you get your stuff, we can get you to the airport, we will bring you to San Jose and we can leave in the afternoon tomorrow. I already explained everything to our coach and he is OK with everything." David said.

"How did I get so lucky to bump into you?" I asked.

 "It was fate." He said as I smiled.

We ate some food as we figured out everything. I was happy I had met David, he was an amazing guy and so were Erik and TJ. We finished up and headed out toward my house. We made it before Anze got home as I quickly hurried up and grabbed my things. We had taken a taxi as we all got out of the house and into the taxi. We made it out as I sighed.

"Your going to be OK." TJ said as I nodded.

"Thank you guys, I really appreciate this." I said as they smiled.

We made it to the airport as we all checked in. The boys made sure we went into first class so we can be more comfortable as they paid for my ticket, I was hoping they would let me pay.

"Can I make this up to you David in some way?" I asked.

"I will think about that and get back to you, but for now just being my friend is good enough for me." He said.

"I think I can do that." I said.

"I hope so. So we have a half hour before we board." He said as I smiled.

"Oh crap I need to call my sister Heidi." I said.

"Ok." He said.

I got on my phone quickly and called her. I let her know what was going on and she was scared so I told her I was coming to stay with her for a little bit and I was safe at the airport. She was excited and let Ryane know as well and he was happy that I was coming. Ryane is her husband aka my over protective brother. We boarded as we got onto the plane and headed for San Jose. The plane headed up in the air as we got to know each other. TJ and Erik were jamming to their I-pods. An hour later we landed in San Jose. We got off and headed for the baggage claim area. We grabbed our bags as we grabbed a taxi.

"Since you boys are going to be exhausted from jet lagged, do you guys want to spend the night?" I asked them.

"Sure." They said.

"Ok." I said as I smiled.

We headed toward my sisters house as she waited for us to arrive. I let her know I was on her way as 20 minutes had passed we pulled up. She greeted us outside as we all got out.

"oh my god Sis. I am so sorry for everything." Heidi said.

"I missed you too sis and its ok." I said.

"Who are these guys?" She asked.

"David Perron, TJ Oshie, and Erik Johnson, this is my sister Heidi." I said.

"Ohh so nice to meet you." She said.

"David, Erik and TJ saved me from Anze and his tempers." I said.

"Thank you guys, come on in. Anze can be very ... how do I put this.. abusive to her." She said.

"I know we saw it come out and that is why I stayed with her to make sure she was OK." David said.

"Thank you so much for bringing her here." She said.

I went upstairs to put my things away as Ryane came home and upstairs to see if I am OK.

"LC are you ok?" He asked.

"Yeah I am doing better. Still heartbroken." I said as he help me put my things away.

"I am here if you need to talk, I am glad your home though." He said as David came in.

"Hey thanks man for bringing her home, she is family and I really appreciate it." Ryane said to him.

"Your welcome, she is a special woman and I am blessed to have met her." David said back as I laughed.

I sat back on my bed as he sat next to me. He looked at me as I sat there and I cried in his arms. He held me as he just let me cry and cry.

"I am fine, I am not going to cry." I said as I got up and wiped my eyes.

"Come here, don't worry. Your gonna get passed this." He said.

"Thank you, I am going to jump into the shower, if you want anything the kitchen is yours , if you want to rest or lay down you can do that too." I said as he nodded.

I grabbed my pajamas as I headed into the showers. I washed my hair and my face as I felt somewhat better. I finished up as I got out and put it on. David was changed already into his pajamas as he stayed in my room relaxing. I checked on him as he was asleep as I joined him in my bed.

::::: Few Weeks Later :::::

Few weeks had passed by, David and I had been getting along so well, We kept in contact while he was there in St. Louis. We had gotten closer and closer. It was morning time and I was chilling, about to get ready for a run. My life had gotten better without Anze and David in my life now.

"Morning sis." Heidi said.

"Morning Heidi." I said as she smiled.

"Going for a run?" She asked.

"Yeah, I need it. Keep up my figure." I said as she laughed.

"Why don't I go with you?" She asked.

"Really? Awesome." I said.

She went up and got ready as she headed down for our morning run.

"Ready?" She asked.

"Yep lets go." I said as we headed out the door.

"So what is up with you and David?" She asked.

"Nothing we just remained friends and close. He is a big part of my life." I said as she smiled.

"So nothing is going on between you two?" She asked.

"Nope, we are good friends." I said as we took a few mile jog.

Two hours later we headed back to home. I was exhausted and sweaty already. We made it home as we walked in to find 3 guys sitting there along with Ryane.

"David!!!" I said as I jumped into his arms .

"LC. I am so glad to see you." He said.

"I am sorry I am so sweaty, we just went for a run. What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Its OK, we play the San Jose tomorrow and came up a day early to see you." He said as I hugged him so tightly.

"I am so glad to see you." I said.

"Me too." He said.

"Hey TJ, Erik." I said smiling so widely.

I headed up for a shower. I was so excited to see him. He means the world to me as I smiled to myself in the shower. I finished up and headed out of the shower as I got dressed. I cleaned up and joined the others as he continued to hug me.

"You have no idea how much I missed you." He said as he looked at me and smiled.

"I missed you so much too." I said as we headed upstairs.

My name is Kelsey Renee Jacks, my sister Lauren Caroline Jacks, also known as LC, is my best friend although she is my older sister. She works for the Boston Bruins front office so she got me tickets and backstage pass to the NHL Draft here in LA, especially since she was part of the table for the Boston Bruins. I was hoping they would sign my favorite player Tyler Seguin tonight at the draft. I promised her I would be on my best behavior tonight.

"Kelsey!" LC screamed.

"Yeah sis?" I asked her.

"Are you almost ready?" She asked.

"Yeah just fixing up my makeup!" I screamed back at her as I finished up.

"Alright I am ready." I said to her as she smiled.

"You look gorgeous." She said.

"Thank you, you think Tyler would be impressed?" I asked.

"He will love you." She said as I smiled.

"You look gorgeous too sis." I said as we walked down from the hotel and into the limo.

"Thank you, now remember we are going to an NHL Draft Party for the guys tonight, for the bruins draft party, be on your best behavior , this is my Job." She said firmly to me.

"Yes mom." I said as we laughed.

We got out and headed into the draft area. I followed her as we headed into this area full of tables. People were piling in while we headed to the 2nd table. First table was the Edmonton Oilers. They have the first round pick and I hope they get Taylor Hall for the first pick then I can get Tyler Seguin for the Boston Bruins. We sat down as LC got on the phone as people were filling up the stands as well as the entire place with draftees. Everyone was ready to go as they started. First up was Edmonton's pick. I crossed my fingers as they walked up to the podium. I had to remain calm as they picked.

"Edmonton picks Taylor Hall." They announced as I breathed.

I looked at LC as she smiled at me. She knew she was getting Tyler of course. She was representing for the Boston Bruins on stage as she got up and headed for the stage. She stopped and whispered something in the Coaches ear. She headed to the stand as she began talking.

"I would like to thank The people here in LA for your kind hospitality, Boston Bruins select from the Plymouth Whalers, Tyler Seguin." LC said as I bursted with joy.

I clapped and tried to hide my emotions as I smiled. She knew it was going to make me thrilled. Tyler walked down more handsome as ever as he looked at me and smiled as he stared at each other for a few moments. He walked up there to the stage to greet LC as she smiled. She gave him the jersey and hat as he put them on for group photos. She hugged him and started talking to him as they all headed down and walked toward the table. I know they had some interviews so LC was the girl who would do it usually.

::: Later that evening at the NHL Draft Party :::

I walked around to the side where my sister was. I was hoping she would introduce me to Tyler as she saw me and waved me over to come to her. I walked over and smiled.

"Hey LC, whats up?" I asked her.

"Tyler Seguin, meet my sister Kelsey, Kelsey this is Tyler Seguin,of the Boston Bruins." She said.

"Nice to meet you Kelsey. I can see the beauty runs in the family." He said staring at me shaking my hand.

"Thank you Tyler." I said as LC had went off to talk to Sidney Crosby.

"So do you want to dance?" He asked me.

"I would love to." I said.

We danced for a good few hours and had so much fun. I couldn't wait to tell LC all about this. We hung out and drank sodas. We talked about everything from music to our favorite foods. We exchanged numbers so when I leave here tomorrow after noon we can keep in contact. We had so much fun and I didn't want this night to end. I got hungry as well as he did so we found a nearby cafe in the area where the party was being held. I had texted LC to let her know Tyler and I decided to get something to eat in the cafe here. She was headed here as well with Sidney, one of her good friends, or so they tell me. I knew they were more than just friends by how they act. I looked at Tyler as we sat down waiting for a waitress. She came and took our order.

"So we have more in common than we thought." Tyler said.

"I agree, I never had this much in common with a man before." I said as he laughed.

"Well now we had exchanged numbers, we can always keep in contact." Tyler said.

"I know, I am shocked you even took a glance at me." I said.

"Why wouldn't I ? Your beautiful, I noticed when I saw you at the Boston table. I had a feeling you were there because of your sister and that dress is just stunning on you." He said as I blushed.

"Thank you, you look extremely handsome, but that isn't the only reason why I think your amazing. Your skills are unbelievable and I was excited Boston chose you because you will make a huge impact on that team." I said.

"I am impressed, a girl who knows their hockey stuff and doesn't like the players because of their looks. I could tell you weren't a puckbunny." He said.

"I know my stuff and its mainly thanks to my sister because she taught me everything to know about Hockey, she loves hockey." I said.

"Looks like your sister found herself a future husband." Tyler said as we looked at LC and Sidney snuggling.

"Just friends my ass." I said as we both laughed.

We finished our food as we headed out. Tyler grabbed my hand as we headed out back to the party.

"So I am having a great time with you." I said.

"Me too, I really like being around you. I can be myself around you and I never met anyone like that." He said.

"I really hope we can continue talking or being friends when everything starts up for you." I said.

"Of course we can. Even though we just met I feel very attracted to you and I like you a lot." He said.

"Well here we are." I said pointing to the hotel room of mine and LC's.

"I am sad this night has to end." He said.

"Me too." I said.

"Well I will call you tomorrow ok?" He asked.

"Ok, that would be good." I said.

He kissed my cheek like the gentleman he is. I grabbed his hand and pulled him toward me as I kissed him on the lips as we both kissed for a good few moments. My eyes closed and this was so right. He smiled as he kissed me again as he walked off. My lips would never be the same again. I walked into the room as I got ready for bed. LC was just coming in as she said goodnight to Sidney, just friends, like I really believe that. I got ready for bed as I hopped in. I couldn't stop thinking about Tyler and well I liked and loved everything about him, I put my head onto the pillow as LC came in and got ready for bed. She turned the light out as I fell asleep.

:::: 2 WEEKS LATER AT DEVELOPMENT CAMP IN BOSTON, MA. ::::

[Tyler Seguin's POV]


I got ready and did my interviews before my first day here at the development program here. I had to stay focus , but my mind was on Kelsey, I missed her so much and I couldn't wait to see her again. I wish she would come. I got ready and got my mind set as I started getting dressed to get out on the ice. I looked at the coach as we got up and headed out. I  walked out and there she was. Kelsey the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. I like her a lot and I am glad she is here. She smiled and waved at me and it made me want to go and hug her.

I instantly gave her pass for the back to the locker room area as I smiled at her. I knew my day was starting off amazing here. She is here and I felt better. I started off scrimmage as we did the drills. A few hours later I was finishing up.


"Kelsey!" I screamed at her.


"Hey hun, whats up?" She asked.


"Nothing , meet me in like half hour by the locker room , I am going to go take a shower and do my interviews. Then I am taking you to lunch and a movie." I said to her.


"Ok. I will see you after." She said as she smiled and waved.


She is so beautiful and every minute I see her I fall for her even more. I finished up and headed for the locker room as I showered and did the interviews. A few minutes later Kelsey came around. I ran up to her and hugged her. I missed her so much.


"I missed you so much."  I said.


"I missed you more. Please tell me your staying." She said.


"I will be staying for a while until I get sent, then I will make sure I don't lose sight of you." I said as I kissed her.


We walked out and headed out for our lunch. This was the best day of my life besides seeing her for the first time at the draft and meeting her for the first time. I finally got my my girl and I knew our life would be different, but we are gonna be prepared as much as we can. I am going to make her my girlfriend.


"Kelsey, will you be my girlfriend?" I asked her.


"Yes!" She said as I smiled.


"No matter what happens , we go through everything together and when I am here, LC said I could stay with you and her." I said as she hugged me.


"Oh Tyler, you make me so happy." She said as I kissed her.


"You make me happy. I feel like I can be myself around you and you like me for me, you don't like me because I am the newest Boston Bruin, you like me for me. For who I am ." I said.


"I like you for you. I like that we have so much in common and that we can be ourselves. I like you more than just looks and for being the Boston Bruin." She said as we walked out hand and hand.


We walked out and headed for lunch as we sat down at this little cafe. Girls kept trying to come up to us, but Kelsey wanted to make it known he had a girlfriend which kind of made me laugh. We finished eating some salads as we got up and headed back home for the day.. My life is awesome, I have hockey and the most amazing girl.. my life couldn't get any better than this.
